At the SIOPE 2024 meeting in Milan, the EXPeRT working group and Young SIOPE held an educational session on rare pediatric tumors. Under the title “Dare to think rare – how to manage rare pediatric tumors”, EXPeRT members Coralie Mallebranche, Małgorzata Krawczyk and Ewa Bień illustrated the management of pancreatoblastomas at initial diagnosis and recurrence using case presentations. Afterwards, EXPeRT members Calogero Virgone and Michaela Kuhlen presented the diagnostic and therapeutic management of adrenocortical carcinomas. The session was rounded off with presentations by EXPeRT chairs Daniel Orbach and Ines Brecht on the activities of the EXPeRT working group.
